A NEW GTA 5 online update has been rolled out this week, bringing a new car to the game, along with some other bonuses and behind the scenes additions.

New stuff has been added to GTA 5 online this week with more being promised for later in the summer.

For now, gamers have plenty of new content to explore and missions to complete with the new casino expansion.

But over the coming weeks, new cars, items and modes are also expected to be released as part of a content drip-feed.

And one of these new items made their debut this week, which looks set to be followed by a lot more stuff.

The new vysser neo supercar is now available to buy for $1,875,000 in-game and comes with plenty of other bonuses.

Right now, casino story missions are paying out double rewards, another excellent reward for players with access.

Other new benefits have also been released for GTA online gamers who have an active twitch prime account.

Rockstar has announced that all twitch prime members who linked their twitch and rockstar social club account before july 29th can claim their free master penthouse in-game via the website on their ifruit.

And the good news is that those who may have missed the latest deadline can still purchase the master penthouse and receive a rebate for the price of the base master penthouse unit within 72 hours.

Gamers have also been exploring rumours that there are certain GTA 5 glitches that can be used to win more money through the inside track game.

This includes all sorts of different methods, as well as backing out to change the odds while in the casino.

There are also rumours of holding down certain buttons to boost your payout, something that wasn’t planned by rockstar games.

But it should be noted that some gamers are starting to see punishments when trying to perform certain actions.

And these aren’t all connected to glitches, as fans are mostly just trying to find ways to boost their winnings without using exploits.

This includes cars like the progen emerus, ocelot locust, benefactor krieger, ocelot jugular, pegassi zorrusso, and the western rampant rocket.

And like most GTA online updates, there will also be new game modes included alongside the vehicles and items. So far, we know of one or two new missions and modes that fans will be able to explore.

This includes a new survival creator mode from rockstar games, which will allow fans to create their own scenarios.

There have also been references to a new alien survival mode, perhaps like the mission featured in the GTA 5 story mission.

Unfortunately, we can’t predict what new items and modes will be released next in GTA 5 online, only that we can expect a new content drop later this week.

On PS4, press and hold the PS button to bring up the quick menu, then hover over the close application option and hit X twice if you don't get the prize you want. For xbox one, wait until you see what the outcome of your spin is going to be, then if you're not happy with it quickly press the xbox button, scroll to GTA 5 and press the menu button then choose quit. PC users can simply press their defined keyboard shortcut to quit once the result is seen.

All you need to do now is reload the game, and repeat the process for another chance to win the prize of your choice. Due to loading times it can take a short while to get back in, though you can speed things up a little by marking GTA online to load as default in the settings > saving and startup > startup flow menu, and setting the casino penthouse as your starting point on the interaction menu > spawn location option. You can ensure this set up is in place by playing a solo or invite only online session, otherwise you'll need to hope that nobody else has already spun the wheel in your casino – if they have, find a new session and try again or back out to the single player game and start a new solo/invite only session.

With the lucky wheel starting in the correct location, enter the spinning minigame then hold the left stick diagonally up and left between the 10-11 o'clock position. Wait a couple of seconds then gently bring the stick down while still pushing left – done correctly, the lucky wheel will slowly rotate once and land on the vehicle wedge, as shown in the gif above. You may need to experiment with the angle you hold the stick and speed you move it downwards, but as before you can quickly quit the game if you don't land the prize you're aiming for then reload for another go.

Technically all you're doing here is pushing the stick a certain way or quitting the game, but using the GTA online lucky wheel glitch is still gaming the system in order to secure a higher value prize. If rockstar detect irregular activity on your account then it's possible you could receive a temporary or permanent ban, though this is unlikely if you use this glitch responsibly – for example, winning a brand new car or the top cash/RP amount every day is likely to raise suspicions, but a single podium car win among other prizes would not look out of place.

The GTA online lucky wheel glitch has been known by players since the launch of the casino, and due to how it works it could be a difficult exploit for rockstar to counter. However, it's always possible that a hotfix could be deployed to eliminate it at some point, so use it (responsibly) while you can to ensure the reward of your dreams becomes a reality.

GTA 5 online news this week includes the launch of the latest casino update on PS4 and xbox one, including a new money bonus.

GTA online gamers have a new car to check out and additional bonuses available on PS4 and xbox one.

The latest news from rockstar confirms that gamers on all platforms can purchase the progen emerus, albeit, at a hefty price.

The new supercar is available to add to your grand theft auto collection today but will cost $2,750,000 in in-game cash.

The new casino DLC contains new missions to complete, so there could be a few gamers out there who will have the in-game money reserves to pull off the purchase.

"all rise for the progen emerus, a king among cars with all the qualities you would expect of a true leader: reliability, refinement and the ability to go from zero to ridiculous like it’s absolutely nothing. Get ready to rule the road," rockstar games explains.

"the progen emerus supercar is now in stock at legendary motorsport."

GTA 5 online gamers who have bought the new casino penthouse suite can also look forward to some great rewards in the near future.

The first bonuses from purchasing the in-game property have started coming through, and it looks like more are on the way.

Rockstar has announced that more in-game money bonuses are being prepped for those owners who log in this to GTA online.

Here's more from the development team, who confirmed in a new statement: "the diamond casino & resort's slate of exclusive rewards expands this week with an assortment of new perks and up to GTA$400,000 in gifts. Those seeking to keep the perks rolling can play GTA online any time before august 21 to get the latest diamond program benefits.

"to qualify for silver status this period, penthouse owners need only log in to GTA online anytime between august 15 and 21. In return, they'll be rewarded with GTA$250,000."

If you have gold status in the diamond program, there is also an additional GTA$50K bonus and the playing cards-themed royals tattoo.

Reaching the heights of diamon status, which means completing all casino story missions, will score another $100,000 in in-game cash.

OTHER GTA ONLINE REWARDS.

With the release of the diamond casino & resort, time trial payouts were permanently increased from GTA$50K to GTA$100K. Double down this week by picking up 2X GTA$ & RP on the brand-new RC time trials, that means a cool GTA$200K for successful completion. Simply head to the new RC time trial corona on your map to burn some tiny bits of rubber in your curb-height monster-truck.

GTA 5 online casino update 1.47 patch notes are out now, with rockstar games detailing what’s in the latest grand theft auto DLC on PS4 and xbox one.

GTA V title update 1.47 brings with it the diamond casino & resort content to GTA online.

The GTA 5 online casino update weighs in at 3.2GB on xbox one and 3.427GB on PS4, while steam users have a 3GB download to install.

The patch notes for the latest GTA 5 online update were revealed in a post by rockstar games.

New content – PS4, xbox one, and PC only

The diamond casino & resort has been added to GTA online. The diamond casino & resort is a shared location for players to enjoy together. The casino offers a wide range of activities and provides multiple guest services for players to use.

The casino penthouse has been added to GTA online. Players can purchase a casino penthouse from the diamond casino & resort website and can be customized with a choice of optional extras such as a media room, a spa, a private dealer, garage space and much more. The penthouse also provides owners with a VIP membership that gives access features including with new casino story missions, freemode missions and two new arcade games.

Hidden playing card collectibles have been added to GTA online. Players can find these hidden playing card collectibles scattered around los santos and collect them for a reward. Collectibles progress can be tracked by using the new ‘collectibles’ option in interaction menu.

Updates have been made to the ‘passive mode’ option in GTA online:

Passive mode can now no longer be active when using a weaponized vehicle

A passive mode cooldown of 2 minutes is now in place for players who have just killed another player

Players now must wait 5 minutes before they can activate passive mode again after disabling it

Players now must wait 30 seconds before they can disable passive mode after activating it

Updates have been made to the ‘go ghosted’ option in GTA online:

The ‘go ghosted’ option is now available to players after 2 deaths instead of 3

The length of time players remain ghosted to each other has been increased from 2 minutes to 5 minutes

The window of time for consecutive kills to count has been increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes

The ‘go ghosted’ option is now available if the killing player is part of an organization or motorcycle club so players can:

‘go ghosted to GAMERTAG’ (if not in a gang)

‘go ghosted to ORG NAME’ (if in an organization)

‘go ghosted to MC NAME’ (if in a motorcycle club)

Players will remain ghosted to the members of the gang even if they disband

Updates have been made to daily objectives in GTA online:

A number of PVP related daily objectives have been removed

The first daily objective in the list will now be the same for all players each day

The cash reward for completing the daily, weekly, and monthly streaks has been increased

A new ‘services’ option has been added to the interaction menu that allows players to view and change options for all large vehicle properties such as:

GTA 5 online is getting a massive update from rockstar games that will include opening up the GTA online casino for the very first time on PS4, xbox one and PC.

Rockstar games has announced that the new casino DLC is coming to GTA 5 online very soon.

No release date has been set by the studio, who have only shared the news that they will be opening the doors to a luxury casino in the heart of vinewood.

No further information has been shared on what this will allow fans to do or what new content to expect.

Will fans be able to purchase a stake in the casino and use it to generate more in-game cash?

Can we expect a surprise GTA online heist to launch with the new area, which will allow gamers to play blackjack and the like?

Rockstar games hasn’t set out their plans but judging by how they have handled updates in the past; we shouldn’t be waiting around for long.

It would make sense for rockstar to reveal some of the new GTA 5 online DLC before it goes live on PS4, xbox one and PC.

This would mean dropping the announcement at least a week before release, with the earliest date likely to be june 20.

This would be followed by a new GTA 5 online update landing on june 27, the one containing all the new stuff.

We no longer have the kind of leaks for GTA online that we used too in years past, meaning these remain predictions for now.

And fans have made their own on the GTA forums, with the highest votes in the new poll backing a june 27 release.

But as mentioned on the forums, there’s a good chance rockstar games could wait until early july to launch the new content.

They will need to balance their plans with red dead online, which is also scheduled to get a new update during the summer.

This leaves a large release window open to rockstar games, although that doesn’t mean they will wait for long.

Red dead online has only just left beta, but more content will be needed to keep players interested.

Ever since GTA 5 launched almost six years ago, grand theft auto players have been promised that a casino is "opening soon".

But as the years went by, so did the wait for the GTA casino to actually open its doors, with the promise of a new gambling den becoming a meme among GTA fans.

However, in the run-up to E3 2019, a GTA 5 online patch removed the "opening soon" sign while construction cones were placed near the front entrance.

More news could drop as early as this week, with only the barest details currently know about the new GTA online update.

“I have a feeling this is gonna be for the high rollers who have millions, sure I'll bring my 200k change see what I can buy, probably a drink at the bar,” one gamer writes.

Another adds: “I don't think they would hype it up this much, with it being under construction in-game and now this, without it being something more than just another business.

“I mean I've got my fingers crossed for a heist, but, for a little effort, they can ignite the hype that's been building for years.

“people have been talking about the casino opening in GTAO forever. It's worth it for R* even if lots of people end up disappointed in another resupply/delivery business.”
