Another popular announced bet is called orphelins. This is pretty much the bet that covers what is not covered by the voisins du zéro and the tier bets combined. This bet covers 8 numbers: 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31 and 34. This is a 4-chip bet consisting of one straight on the number 1 and four splits on 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34. As in online gambling sites there are no boundries, there are many interesting and innovative roulette variations that feature even more types of bets. For example, microgaming’s premier roulette diamond edition features the ‘chip bomb’ bet which allows you to easily place a bet on a certain number and all of the numbers that surround it on the table layout. Furthermore, most virtual roulette games allow you to create your own betting patterns and save them in a special tab of the layout for easier access when you later want to repeat them.

How to play roulette – rules and beginner guide

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.

Roulette is a simple yet fascinating game of chance that is extremely popular around the world – both at land-based and at the top casino sites. I doubt there is a person on this earth that hasn’t heard of it and doesn’t have the slightest idea of how to play, yet if you’re planning on playing for real money, I would recommend that you explore the rules of roulette inside out because in some cases that might actually give you better chances for a win.

Note: though this guide might be used for both land-based and online roulette games, here on roulettesites.Org, we are focused on the virtual variations of the game and the best places where you can play. If you are a UK player and after brushing up on the rules of the game you decide that you want to try your luck for real money, then make sure you only play at sites that are licensed by the united kingdom gambling commission. If you need a suggestion for such sites, make sure you take a look at our list of the top 10 real money roulette sites.

The basics

The rules of roulette are quite straightforward. In this game, you have a wheel that features red and black slots that have the numbers from 1 to 36 on them, and one or two green zero slots – depending on whether you’re playing european single zero roulette or american double zero roulette. Except for the wheel, you have a table which also features the numbers and several additional sectors on which you can place bets. After all the participants in the game have placed their bets on the table, the dealer spins the wheel and throws in a small ball. Whichever is the number of the slot the ball lands in is the winning number. If you have bet on that number or on a group of numbers that contain it, then you’ll get a payout.

According to the type of roulette game you’re playing, there might be some differences in the wheel and table layout, but that’s nothing to worry about as it doesn’t impact in any way the outcome of the game. Something that is important to know, though, is the type of bets you can place when playing roulette. Let’s take a closer look at them.

How to play roulette – step by step

  1. Choose a number or group of numbers you want to bet on

  2. Choose a bet amount that is suitable for your bankroll

  3. Place your bet on the number/numbers of your choice

  4. Wait for the dealer to spin the wheel and reveal the winning number

  5. Collect your winnings, if you’ve guessed the number

  6. Place another bet and try again

Types of bets

In roulette, you can bet on a single number or on different groups of numbers. There are many betting combinations all of which bring you different odds for winning and different payouts. All in all, the more numbers you bet on, the bigger are your chances for a win and, therefore, the lower are the payouts that the game offers. Other than that, all bets are divided in three main categories: inside, outside and announced bets. The first two categories are the basic ones that are offered by all roulette games and that you should definitely know inside out, whereas the third is more advanced and featured only in select roulette variants. Now let’s start with the basic roulette bets and I’ll leave it up to you if you want to continue and learn more about the advanced ones.

Inside bets

If you take a better look at the roulette table layout, you’ll notice that the main part consists of the numbers from zero to 36 and the rest are sectors for betting on groups of numbers: odd/even, red/black, 1-18/19-36, columns and dozens. The bets that you place on the numbers themselves are called inside bets, whereas the bets that you place on the other sectors are called outside bets. There are seven types of inside bets, as described and illustrated below:

# bet name covered numbers and chip placement chip placement scheme
1 straight this is a bet that covers only one number. In order to make this bet, place the chip inside the square of the number.
How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.
2 split A bet on two numbers which are adjacent on the table, made by placing the chip on the shared line of the two numbers’ squares.
3 street A bet on three consecutive numbers located on the same line. Make the bet by placing the chip on the outer corner of the row.
4 six line A bet on two adjacent lines. In order to make this bet, you have to place the chip on the common outer corner of the two lines.
5 corner this is a four-number bet, placed by putting the chip on the common corner of the four numbers. Also called ‘square’ bet.
6 trio A three-number bet that includes the zero or zeros. Place the chip on the line shared by the zero box and the two other numbers.
7 basket bet on 0, 1, 2 and 3 with a chip on the corner shared by the zero box and the first line. In american roulette, it includes the double zero.

As you can see, the inside betting combinations are quite logical and easy to remember. As we already mentioned, they bring you different chances for a win and different payoffs, but if you’re playing at legal and fair online roulette sites, then you can leave that up to the software. If you, on the other hand, decide to play at a land-based casino or at an online live dealer table, then I would suggest you read up on the subject, as the dealers are humans and as such might make a mistake. For such cases, I advise you to also check out our article on the odds and probabilities that the different roulette bets bring you.

Outside bets

As we already mentioned, the outside bets in roulette are those bets that are placed outside the number field, on the sectors that cover the bigger groups of numbers. There are five common types outside bets:

  • Red or black – bet on the colour of the winning number

  • Odd or even – bet on whether the winning number will be odd or even

  • 1 to 18 or 19 to 36 – bet on whether the winning number will be low (lower than 19) or high

  • Dozens – bet on one of the three dozen that are found on the layout of the table

  • Columns – bet from which of the three columns will the winning number be

There’s another bet that is considered to be an outside bet but is available only in certain roulette variations. It’s called the snake bet and it covers the red numbers 1, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 23, 27, 30, 32 and 34, creating the shape of a snake. In this bet, all the numbers are covered by one chip. Some games also feature a black snake bet which again resembles a snake but consists only of black numbers: 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 26, 29, 28, 31 and 35. In the black snake betting combination, the 17/20 numbers and 26/29 are split bets, while all the rest are straights.

Announced bets

The announced bets are special betting combinations most commonly featured in french roulette though also often present in online european roulette variants. And since they are most commonly featured on french roulette, they all have their individual french names.

Let’s start with the voisins du zéro bet, also known as the neighbours of zero. This bet covers the zero and the 7 numbers on each side of the zero – from 22 to 25 on the wheel. This makes for a 15-number bet which is made of 9 chips:

  • A trio covering 0,2,3 – 2 chips

  • Five splits: 4/7, 12/15, 18/21/ 19/22, 32/35 – one chip each

  • One corner: 25/26/28/29 – 2 chips

Another bet, which just like the voisins du zéro is covering quite a bit of numbers, is called le tiers du cylindre. It’s located opposite on the wheel compared to the voisins du zéro and covers 12 numbers – from 27 to 33 on the wheel. This is where the name of the bet comes from – it literally translates to ‘one third of the wheel’. All the numbers covered by this bet are: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23,10, 5, 24, 16 and 33. This is a 6-piece bet. One chip is placed on the table for each of the following splits: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30 and 33/36.

Furthermore, there’s also the jeu zéro bet, also called the zero game. This bet covers 3 neighbours of the zero slot on each side of the wheel. It’s a 4-piece bet – there’s one straight on the number 26 and 3 splits on 0/3, 12/15 and 32/35.

A very common announced bet that you can place on roulette is the neighbours. This is a 5-number bet that covers a certain number and 2 neighbouring numbers on each side. For example, the bet ‘5 and the neighbours’ covers the numbers 5, 24, 16, 10 and 23. In order to place this bet, you’ll need the special ‘racetrack’ betting section (see the picture above) which is available in most online roulette variations but not in all of them. Some online games even allow you to chance the number of neighbours you want to cover on each side of the number you’ve chosen, up to 8. A very useful bet, indeed, especially when you’re playing live roulette and discovered some pattern in the dealer’s actions which leads you to believe that the ball will fall in a certain section of the wheel.

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.

Other special bets include the finals or finales and the red/black splits. The finals let you bet on what will be the last digit of the winning number. For example, if you bet on finale 4, then you will place a 4-number bet on 4, 14, 24 and 34. This bet is also called finale plein, so that it differs from the finale a cheval which lets you bet on two potential final digits of the winning number. As far as the red/black split bets go, they are exactly what the name says: combinations of all the splits of the same colour that you can find on the table.

Choosing which bet to make

Now that you know about all the possible bets in roulette, it’s time to try the game for yourself. But how do you choose which bet to make? Well, it all depends on the roulette strategy that you want to adopt. If you would like to try the classic progressive betting systems martingale or fibonacci, then you should pick one of the so called ‘even money bets’ that cover half of the numbers on wheel, when you exclude the zero: odd/even, red/black, 1-18/19-36. The strategy you choose will also help you in picking the amount you want to bet. In the same example, you should start from a very low bet so that you have the room to increase the stake after each loss.

Speaking of stakes, you should also take into account that each roulette game has its own betting limits which differ for the various types of bets. Considering what is the amount you’re willing to spend and the strategy that you’re about to adopt, you should choose a game with betting limits that fit your need. If you’re a low roller and you’re looking for tables that allow very small bets, then make sure you visit our low stakes roulette article. If you, on the other hand, consider yourself a high roller and want to experience the thrill of betting large amounts of money on your favourite game of chance, then our article on the best high limit online roulette tables is the read that you are looking for.

What are the main steps in the online roulette rules?

Basically, the online roulette rules in UK include six main steps. Initially, you place your bet (chips) in a specific way on the table and for a specific period of time. Then, the dealer closes the 'betting window' and spins the ball around the wheel, and lastly, the dealer announces and spreads out the chips depending on the winning bets.

Do the online casino apps offer the best roulette rules in the UK?

Yes, but that's because some RNG and live roulette games are specially optimised for UK mobile casino apps. Examples include larger buttons in the main menu, easily accessible settings, 3D visualisations and effects, and a possibility to play with a special mobile casino bonus for table games. Otherwise, the online roulette betting rules are the same for the desktop and mobile version of a UK online casino.

What is the difference between the european and american rules of roulette?

The rules for the european and american versions are basically the same, except for some characteristics of the game. How different are the online roulette betting rules for the french version?

First, the online roulette rules for the french version of the game include a visually different table layout (mostly the outside betting field) with the lowest house edge advantage among all other versions (1.35%). Other important rules of roulette that are different include: la partage rule, announced bets like voisins du zéro, finale à cheval and others.

Can a strategy change the online roulette game rules?

A correctly used strategy can certainly affect your game but shortly put: no, it cannot change the online roulette rules. A correctly used roulette strategy only changes the odds of winning and, of course, it all depends on how lucky you get.

Are there any different online roulette rules?

Yes, there are many types of online roulette that use different or slightly different rules. Examples include high-stakes tables that allow higher limits, as well as mini roulette that has a 13-slot wheel. Also, you can find different russian roulette rules and simplified roulette rules for dummies. There are also extraordinary cases such as the strip roulette rules.

What are the online roulette rules for neighbour bets?

The length of the sections and respectively the number of the neighbouring pockets can be adjusted upon placing your bet. There are three main sections on the wheel: les voisins du zéro, les orphelins and le tier du cylindre.

Capture the cards from the center by matching or building. Earn points by having the most cards, the most spades, and for every ace.

Requires

A standard deck of cards (no jokers)
2 to 4 players

Game play

Deal four cards to each player and deal four cards to the middle and spread them in a line, face-up. The traditional way to deal casino is two-by-two, to each player and the middle.

The first turn goes to the player to the left of the dealer and continues clockwise. Each player makes a play with one card from his hand in an attempt to capture as many cards as possible. The player must turn the card he plays face-up and place it on the table in view of all players before it is used to build or capture. The possible plays are as follows:

  • Capturing a card by pairing: A card from the player’s hand matches the rank (number) of a face-up card in the middle. The player places his card down and then collects the matching pair for counting at the end of the game.

  • Capturing cards by combining: A player can capture numerical cards (ace to 10 — not face cards) in combination if the value of the cards adds up to the value of a card in the player’s hand. For instance, a player with an 8 could capture a 6 and 2.

  • Capturing cards by pairing and combining: A player can execute the above two moves simultaneously if the middle cards support the maneuver. For example, if a player has a 9 and the board shows a 5, 4 and 9, then he may take the combination (5 and 4) and the pair (9) at once.

  • Building: A player may build a combination on a middle pile by adding one of the cards from his hand, if he has the card that the new combination will add up to. For example, if there is a 2 in the middle and a player has a 6 and 8 in his hand, he can place the 6 on the 2 and declare, “building eight.” the player who does this may not capture the cards from this build until his next turn. If any of the other players has an 8, he may steal this build before it gets back around to the original player. Face cards cannot be part of builds.

  • Building on builds: A player may build upon another player’s build if he has a card that will total the value of the three cards in the build. In the above example, a player with a 9 and ace could build ace, 6, and 2 and declare “building nine.” similarly, the player must wait a turn to capture this build if no other player does first.

  • Trailing: if a player cannot capture any cards, or for strategic reasons wants to lay off a card, he may play a card face-up in the middle. Other players may then capture or utilize this card.

The dealer replenishes the hands of the players after each round, but not the middle cards.

Objective

There are multiple ways to score points in casino. Generally, capturing many cards is a good way to end up with many points. Points are scored for having the following in your card pile:

Majority of cards (27 or more): 3 points
majority of spades (7 or more): 1 point
big casino (the 10♦): 2 points
little casino (the 2♠): 1 point
aces (each): 1 point

For the first two benchmarks, if no one achieves the minimum number, the points are not awarded. The first player to reach 21 points is the winner.

Too complicated for the little ones?

Try a young children’s version of this game, stealing bundles. In this simplified version, players can only capture cards by pairing. Captured cards are kept face up. A player can steal another’s captured-cards pile if he plays a card that matches the top one on the stack. The winner is the player who ends up with more than half the cards.

Rules of roulette

Rules of roulette

A roulette wheel consists of a spinning disk with divisions around its edge that revolves around the base of a bowl. A ball is spun around the outside of the bowl until eventually ball and wheel come to rest with the ball in one of the divisions.

The divisions around the wheel are numbered from 1 to 36 in a seemingly random pattern and alternate red and black. Additionally, there is a green division numbered 0. On american tables only there is a second extra green division marked 00 and it is largely this that makes the american version of roulette a worse proposition financially than the european game.

Prior to rolling the ball, people place bets on what number will come up by laying down chips on a betting mat, the precise location of the chips indicating the bet being made. Roulette is a game of french origin and on a traditional table, the french terms on the betting area are still used even in english speaking areas. However, on most US tables, english terms and a slightly different style of mat are used.

  • Red / rouge: a red number

  • Black / noir: a black number

  • Even / pair: an even number

  • Odd / impair: an odd number

  • Low bet / manque: numbers 1 - 18 (manque is french for "failed" and is used because the ball has failed to pass 18)

  • High bet / passe: numbers 19 - 36 (passe is so named because it has "passed" the centrepoint)

2 to 1

  • First dozen / premiere douzaine: numbers 1 - 12 (on the french-style mat, the square marked 12P)

  • Middle dozen / moyenne douzaine: numbers 13 - 24 (on the french-style mat, the square marked 12M)

  • Last dozen / dernier douzaine: numbers 25 - 36 (on the french-style mat, the square marked 12D)

  • Column bet / colonne: a column of 12 numbers (the special square at the end of one of the three columns of twelve numbers)

Longer odds

  • 5 to 1 - line bet / sixain: 6 numbers (place the stake on the intersection of the edge of two rows of three numbers to bet on those 2 rows)

  • 8 to 1 - corner bet / carre: 4 numbers (place the stake at the intersection of a square of four numbers)

  • 11 to 1 - street bet / carre simple or transversale: a row of 3 numbers (half way over the line forming the end of the row of three numbers to be bet upon)

  • 17 to 1: split bet / en chaval: a pair of numbers (place the stake across the line dividing the two numbers to be bet upon

  • 35 to 1: straight up / en plein: a single number (place the stake in the box showing the number concerned. It is allowable to bet on zero)

The bets on six numbers or less are termed "inside bets". The bets on 12 numbers or more are called "outside bets".

European roulette rules

Assuming that the possible bets are all understood, roulette is essentially a trivially simple game to play. For each turn, once all bets have been placed using coloured chips to distinguish each player, the croupier halts betting, spins the wheel, and rolls the ball in the opposite direction. When the ball comes to a halt in one of the slots, the croupier announces the result, collects all losing bets and pays out the winner's profits.

There are additional optional rules that some casinos and houses play. Both the la partage and the en prison roulette rules effectively halve the casino edge on even-money bets. If playing at home, decide at the start which, if any of the following rules you would like to play.

'en prison' rule

  • Reclaim half the bet and lose the other half.

  • Leave the bet (en prison = in prison) for the next spin of the roulette wheel for an all or nothing gamble. If the subsequent spin is again zero, or does not match the imprisoned bet, then the whole bet is lost. Otherwise, if the subsequent spin's outcome matches the bet, the player's money is returned.

'la partage' rule

The la partage roulette rule is similar to the en prison rule, only in this case the player has no option when a zero turns up and simply loses half the bet.

Maximum and minimum stakes

Casinos will normally post a maximum and a minimum stake for a roulette table and this is sometimes done for recreational play, too. Typically, for each spin of the wheel, if a player the total amount of a player's inside bets must exceed the minimum stake. The listed maximum stake usually shows only the maximum allowed for a single number "straight up" bet. The maximum stakes for other types of bet increases proportionately e.G. The maximum bet allowed for a pair of numbers is double the maximum straight-up bet, the maximum allowed for a corner bet is 4 times the straight up maximum and so on. So that really the limitation is on the amount that the casino can lose!

North american roulette rules

In north america and the caribbean, roulette wheels have a double zero, and all bets (except a direct bet on the selected zero) are lost when either zero turns up. The result is significantly poorer odds for the punter and an increase in the casino's cut. This is probably why in this region, roulette is less popular than it is in other parts of the world.

The rules are the same as for european roulette above except that the double zero works in the same way as a single zero result.

Some american casinos do allow an additional bet called a "basket bet" which is staked by placing chips in the same way as for a line bet on the outside of the the dividing line between the zero row and the row featuring 1, 2 and 3. This bet normally pays out 6 to 1 which gives it odds worse than any other roulette bet.

The old original roulette game

In the original french roulette, the numbers 1 - 36, had the zero and the "double zero". The zero was coloured red and also counted as "pair" and "manque"; the double zero was black and also counted as "impair" and "passe".

If the ball fell into one of the two zero divisions, all lost stakes are taken by the bank but if the bet was matched by virtue of being pair, impair, rouge, noir, passe or manque, instead of being won, the stake was imprisoned until the next spin of the wheel. On that subsequent turn, the stake was either lost or if the ball matched the bet again, the stake was merely returned to the gambler without any profit.

Craps rules – how to play craps

If you’re new to craps, the game may seem a bit complicated and pretty hectic – there is a lot of action happening all at once as craps bets can be made at any point during a round. Although you can play craps knowing only a couple of bets, you can have more fun and change things up a bit when you know all the betting possibilities available to you and how and when to place them. By going through the craps rules and the game bet by bet you’ll soon know how to play craps like a pro and be ready to play this exciting online casino classic.

Craps rules - the basics of how to play craps

In online craps played at both desktop and mobile casinos, and in live games too for that matter, gamblers place wagers on the outcome of the roll of the dice. Two six-sided dice are used in the game. The player who throws the dice is called “the shooter,” and if you play in a live casino, every player at the table can have the opportunity to roll. The dice are passed counter clockwise after each new round.

When a new round of craps begins the following takes place:

1) the shooter selects two dice to roll.

2) the shooter must make a pass line bet – either on the pass or don't pass line (we’ll soon go through what that means). Other players at the table also make bets.

3) the shooter begins the round by rolling the dice off the opposite wall of the table. The shooter's first roll is known as the come-out roll.

The come-out roll

As we said, the shooter has to make either a pass bet or a don’t pass bet before the first roll – the come-out roll. If the come-out roll is a 7 or 11, then the pass bet wins and the don't pass bets lose. This scenario ends the round. If the come-out roll is a 2, 3 or 12, also known as “craps,” the pass line loses and the don't pass line either wins (in some casinos 12 results in a tie and the bet is returned to the player.) this also ends the round.

If the come-out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then that specific number becomes the player's point. The dealers at the table then place a puck on top of that specific number on the table. The shooter continues to roll the dice until he or she rolls the point number 7. If the point number is rolled, then pass line bettors win and don't pass bettors lose. If a 7 is rolled, pass line bets lose and don't pass bets win.

If the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 instead, then a point is established. When you bet the pass line, you want that point number to be rolled again, (before the shooter rolls a 7). If the shooter does hit the number before rolling a 7, your pass line bet is doubled.

If the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12 (or craps) on the come-out roll, then you lose your pass line bet. If a point is established and a 7 is rolled before that point value, this also results in a lost pass line bet.

Don't pass line: don't pass bets are the opposite of pass line bets. When you make a don't pass bet you are basically betting against the shooter. You want the shooter to crap out (roll a 2, 3 or 12) on the come-out roll. If a point is established on the come-out roll, then your goal as a don't pass bettor is to have the shooter roll a 7 before hitting their established number.

Come bets: A come bet is like a pass line bet but it can be made at any time after the point has been made. If a shooter rolls a 7 or 11 after a come bet is made, the come bet wins. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12 after a come bet has been made, the come bet loses.

If the shooter rolls any other number that number becomes your own point number and if that number is rolled before the shooter rolls a 7, then the come bet wins. If the 7 is rolled before the number, the come bet loses. This bet pays even money.

Don't come bets: this is the opposite of the come bet. It’s also made at any time after the point has been made. Don't come bets win if a shooter rolls a 2 or a 3 after a point has been established (a 12 results in a tie). If any other number is rolled that becomes your point number, then a seven must be rolled before that number is repeated again in order for the don't come bet to win.

Odds bets: this is a side bet which can only be placed once you have already made a pass, don’t pass, come, or don’t come bet. You will not see this marked on the table, but you make it by placing chips directly behind your original bet. You ‘take odds’ when you have already made a pass or come bet, and you ‘lay odds’ when you have made a don’t pass or don’t come bet.

Depending on what your original bet is, you are taking/laying odds on whether the point number or 7 will be rolled first. For example if you have placed a pass bet and you take odds, you win the bet if the point number is rolled before the 7. If your original bet wins, your odds bet also wins. The odds bet can be made at any time, removed at any time, and you can increase or decrease the amount of the bet as well at any point during the game.

There is also a limit for bets to amount to 2-3 times the original bet. If you have made a $20 bet on the don’t come bet, you can lay odds up to $40 for 2 times the original bet, or $60 for 3 times the original bet, depending on the casino.

Odds pay 2 to 1 for points 4 and 10, 3 to 2 for points 2 and 9, and 6 to 5 for points 6 and 8.

How to play craps - single-roll bets

Once you leave how to play craps single-roll bets they can be made whenever you want during a round and are placed in the area of the craps layout where you see images of dice combinations, as shown in the image below. You should always keep in mind that these bets offers a quite hefty house edge and they are not recommended by any craps experts. By learning how to play craps single-roll bets you can use them sparingly throughout a game for a bit of added thrill.

Proposition bets

These bets are a group of single roll bets found together on the table. Proposition bets tends to have a very high house edge so you should only really play them once in a while when you want some action as you wait for your standing bets.

Three (ace deuce): wins if the shooter rolls a 3 and pays 15 to 1.

Any 7 (big red): wins if the shooter rolls a 7 and pays 4 to 1.

Any craps (three way): wins if the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12 and pays 7 to 1 for each number.

Two craps or aces (snake eyes): wins if the shooter rolls a 2 and pays 30 to 1.

Twelve craps (boxcars or midnight): wins if the shooter rolls a 12 and pays 30 to 1.

Eleven (yo): wins if shooter rolls an 11 and pays 15 to 1. This is called a yo instead of eleven to avoid confusion as eleven sounds a lot like seven.

Craps and eleven (C&E): this bet is occasionally marked on the side of the proposition bets boxes on the table as C&E. There are 16 circles marked with a C or E to fit all the 16 players at the craps table. This bet adds the eleven to the any craps bet so you win if an eleven is rolled, or if one of the any craps numbers are rolled. The payout is 7:1 if any craps numbers 12,3,or 2 are rolled, and 15:1 if the eleven is rolled. The house edge overall is 11.11%. As 50% of your bet is on each the any craps and eleven, you will lose half your original bet as one will always lose out.

Horn (2,3,11 or 12): the horn bet wagers on either the 2,3,11 or 12 being rolled on the next roll of the dice. This bet is found in the middle of the table with the proposition bets. Wagers are split between each number. For example if you wager $8, then $2 will go on each number. If one of the numbers is rolled then the 2 and 12 pay 30 to 1, and then 3 and 11 pay 15 to 1. Then difference between the horn bet and the C&E bet is that all numbers have their own distinct payoffs, whilst the any craps numbers have a combined payout of 7:1.

Horn high bets: you are able to double your bet on one of the horn bet numbers by making one of the horn numbers a horn high number. When you place bets in $5 multiples it makes this bet easier to make so you can designate one unit for each number and an extra unit on one of them. For example if you place a horn high on the 11, $2 will be placed on the 11, and $1 on each the 2,3 and 12. If the 11 is rolled you get paid twice the payout minus three dollars of your losing bets. You have to indicate which number you want as the high number when you place the horn bet. If one of the other numbers is rolled and not your high number you will get paid the single payout minus the $4.

World or whirl bet: you will not find this bet on the craps table but many players like to place this bet. This is a combination of the horn and any seven bet making it five individual bets, and it’s made in multiples of $5 like the horn high bet to make it easier. If the shooter rolls a 7 for example, then that bet wins and the other four lose. The payout for the 7 is 4:1 and the others are the same as the horn bet.

Craps rules – learn how to play craps

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.
The most popular and probably the only dice game in casinos nowadays is craps. When this game was played on the streets, the activity was known as ‘shooting dice’ and the game was called ‘street craps’. In street craps players played against each other, and not against a gambling establishment like a casino. It required very little for the game to be played, and was mainly played in informal setting. The casino version of the game that you probably know, at least from movies, is called just ‘craps’.

If you are a beginner, we can’t deny that craps might seem intimidating at first. It’s not that it isn’t easy to play once you get into it, but until you learn the basic rules you will think it is a complicated game with hundred different types of bets, while players shout from all around the table. Fortunately enough for those that don’t want the clamor, there is online craps, so they can learn the game at peace with the help of their computer, smartphone, tablet etc.

When you are through with this guide, you will think quite the contrary of craps and how it isn’t that complicated. Once you learn the first and most basic bets, the entire game will immediately reveal itself as you get to know the other bets. During your craps playing time you will add more bets to your use, and after just 10 to 15 minutes of practice in free play mode at any online casino, you will master the game enough to get you going.

Craps rules

The following are the rules that apply to playing craps:

  • Casinos decide which bets will be offered as well as the payouts for them.

  • The players throw the dice in turns, and the one throwing them is called the ‘shooter’.

  • Bets are placed on the appropriately marked sections of the table where the particular bet is displayed.

  • Before throwing the dice the shooter needs to make a ‘pass’ or ‘don’t pass’ line bet. At some craps tables these bets may be called ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ or ‘win’ and ‘don’t win’ bets.

  • A craps game is played in rounds.

  • For a round to start, the shooter needs to make a ‘come out’ roll. If the roll is two, three or twelve, bets placed on pass line are lost. If the roll is seven or eleven, they win.

  • If the shooter’s come out roll is four, five, six, eight, nine or ten, then a ‘point’ is established to pass. In order for the bets on pass line to succeed, the point must be rolled before a seven, and the round will finish. If the point number is established before a seven, the bets lose and the dice is given to the next shooter. Whenever the pass line bets win the don’t pass line bets lose and the other way around.

  • If twelve is rolled on the come out roll, the don’t pass line bets are pushed, while the pass line bets lose.

The basics of craps

Objective of the game

When played in land-based casinos, craps can be a game where people can socialize because it attracts much attention and usually many people stand by the table to watch the action. When playing online this is not the case obviously, but the same objective stands, to guess the outcome of the dice.

As mentioned earlier, the player whose turn has come to shoot the dice is called the ‘shooter’. The viewers that stand around the board in land-based craps games are the players and bet on the outcome of the roll. When the dice are rolled, the outcome can be a total number between two and twelve. One round can consist of just one roll or a series of rolls. The object of the game is to bet on or against the shooter.

Come out roll

The come out roll is the first roll of the shooter. When a seven or eleven is the outcome, all the pass line bets receive a payout. If the outcome of the dice is two three or eleven, then these bets lose. If another number is rolled apart from these, then the point is established.

When the point has been established, the second phase of the game begins. In this phase pass line bets succeed when the point number is rolled. If seven is rolled, then they are lost and the round ends. Each new game in craps begins with the come out roll.

Pass line and don’t pass line bet

If the players want the pass line bets to succeed, he mustn’t roll two, three or twelve, but eleven or seven. The opposite of these are don’t pass line bets, which succeed if the shooter rolls two, three or twelve. If the point is established the shooter must repeat the point number before rolling a seven. If a seven is rolled, the shooter loses. These bets are the fundamental bets in craps and can be your starting point in learning craps and all the other options.

The best starting bet is the pass line bet on the come out roll. It offers a house edge of around 1.40%, while the majority of other bets have much higher edge. They are recommended as best for beginners. Stick to this bet if you want to minimize your chances of losing.

Come bet and don’t come bet

This bet is similar to the pass line bet in the aspect of mathematics, and can be placed after the come out roll, while the pass line bet is made before the come out roll. This bet too is won if the shooter rolls 7 or 11, and here too you can win if the shooter rolls the point number before a 7.

Naturally, the don’t come bet is the opposite of the come bet and similar to the don’ pass line bet. With this bet you suggest that the shooter will not repeat the point number before he rolls a 7.

Place and place to lose bets

Place bets are those made on the numbers of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. If some of these numbers has been rolled before the shooter rolls a 7, your place bet is won. To make this bet you need the don’t pass line bet. The best odds with this bet are if you make on 6 or 8, while the second best option is to make it on 5 or 9.

The opposite of the place bet is the place to lose bet. This bet is won with a 7, but if the number that you are betting against is rolled, then your place to lose bet is lost. Here too the best place to lose bets are if made on 6 or 8.

Other bets

Other important bets that you can make in craps are: buy, lay, big 6 and big 8, field bet, any 7, any craps, twelve craps or two sixes, twelve craps or aces, eleven or six five, three craps or ace deuce, two craps or aces, horn bet etc.

A simple strategy to use

If you decide that craps is your game and that you want to advance with your craps skills, make sure to first carefully learn the basic and most common bets, and then try to learn all the other options. You can take some simple tips with you and always guide yourself according to them. For example, the best wagers that you can make are pass line or come bets and bets on 6 or 8. Pass line and come bets have the lowest house edge in craps. But never bet on big 6 or big 8, because they have bad payouts.

Also, you should only play craps games where you can take odds for pass line and come bets, and remember to never place proposition bets. After you have learned how to play craps properly, you should see to it that you have found a strategy that suits your style of play the best. Design a system how to manage your money, however, don’t hope for a system like the martingale, because with it you will need quite a large bankroll.

Summary

Craps is one of the most exciting and loudest games at land-based casinos. They even feature rules of how craps players should hold the dice when they wish to roll as well as other similar rules of conduct. This game provides the true essence of the casino world and pure entertainment. Today, online casinos feature even live craps games where a live dealer is broadcasted from a studio with a craps table in front of him and multiple players can log on to the table and play.

The basics of how to play craps

Learning how to play craps isn’t as difficult as you might think. People are often steer away from playing the game because they think its too complex, but the only particularly complicated aspect is all the different types of bets that can be placed.

You don’t actually need to learn all of them to start playing and you can just stick to the simplest ones if you like.

You do, however, need to understand how the game is played.

This article will help as we cover everything you need to know to play craps in a live casino or online.

We explain the main objective of the game, the craps table, the betting layout, and the basic rules. We also introduce the different types of bets.

The main objective in craps is really quite straightforward. Basically you are just betting on the outcome of the roll of two dice. The goal is to correctly predict what combination of the two will be rolled. The game is pure chance since you can’t affect the outcome in any way, but you do have the choice of several wagers.

The craps table (live casino)

Craps is played on a specially-designed table that features a betting layout where players can place their wagers. In a live casino, a table would look something like this.

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.

The dice are rolled on the table by one of the participating players, referred to as the shooter. Typically, a new player will become the shooter at the end of each round, although one player may remain as the shooter for several in a row.

Anyone at the table, including the shooter, can make wagers by placing their chips in the appropriate spot on the betting layout.

A craps table requires the attention of several casino employees. You’ll usually find the following people running a table:

The boxman is in charge of the chips at the table. He (or she) will exchange cash into chips for players and swap them for different denominations if required. He’s also responsible for supervising the dealers and generally ensuring that the game runs smoothly.

The stickman is in charge of the dice. He moves them around the table with the use of a stick (hence the name), passing them to the shooter at the start of each roll. He will also announce the outcome of each roll.

A craps table usually features two base dealers, one standing on either side. They are responsible for collecting losing bets and paying out winners. When requested to do so, they can also place certain bets on behalf of players.

The craps table (online casino)

The rules of craps are the same regardless of whether you are playing in a live setting or online. However, things are a lot simpler online. There’s no allocated shooter, as technically you are the shooter every time you play.

The diced are rolled automatically when you press the relevant button, and you place your bets by clicking in the appropriate place on the betting layout.

The following is an example of what an online craps table looks like:

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.

Basic rules

Each round in craps starts with what is known as the come-out roll. Most casinos will require that the shooter place a bet before making this roll on either the pass line or the don’t pass line.

If the combined value of the two dice on a come-out roll equals 2, 3, or 12, then this is “crapping out” and the round is over. Players will lose pass line bets and win don’t pass bets. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, the round is also over.

If any other value is rolled on the come-out roll i.E. 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then a point is established, equal to the value rolled, and the round continues into the next stage.

The shooter continues to roll with players betting on the outcome of each, until they roll either a 7 or the point value that has been established.

Following a roll of either 7 or the point value, the round is over and a new come-out roll is required. It’s standard practice for the shooter to pass the dice to another player if a round ends with a 7, and to stay as shooter if the round ends with the point value being rolled.

This is essentially all there is to the basic rules of craps. What makes the game more complex are all the different bets that can be placed.

Types of craps bets

The following is a list of the different wagers you can place when playing craps:

  • Pass line

  • Don’t pass

  • Come

  • Don’t come

  • Big 6

  • Big 8

  • Hardways

  • Field

  • Any 7

Texas hold’em rules

In texas hold’em each player is dealt two cards called their ‘hole’ cards. Hole cards can only be seen and used by one person. The dealer button (denoted by a circular disc) is allocated before hands are dealt to allow for the positioning of the forced bets: small blind and big blind, and also to determine who will act first and last in the hand.

There are a total of four betting rounds: preflop, the flop, the turn and the river. The betting rounds will be detailed further on.

If you have a dedicated dealer (such as at a casino), the button will still move around the table so everybody will eventually have to pay the blinds. The button doesn’t show who is dealing in a casino; the button shows who is seated the best position at the table and where the blinds are located.

If you just sat down (out of turn) you will have to pay the blinds in order get dealt a hand; otherwise, you can wait until the blinds come around to your seat. You should wait for the blinds as paying twice is unprofitable.

The size of the blinds depends on the limit; for example, a 1/2 no limit hold’em game would have a big blind of $2 and a small blind of 1$. The small blind and big blind are located to the left of the button.

This is shown in the case of a 6 handed game below:

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.

The blinds are an important part of the rules of poker. These forced bets which give players an incentive to play; in other words ‘spice up’ the game. Without the blinds, there would be no penalty for waiting and only playing strong hands. The only hand worth playing would be two aces!

Antes are another form of forced bets which are often used the increase the action in some game types such as tournaments and deep stacked cash games.

Pre-flop – the first betting round of hold’em

The first round of betting takes places starting at the position to the left of the big blind (early position or EP). Each player has the following options:

Raise: you can raise the current bet to increase the stakes of the game. If someone has raised before you, you can still raise again – this is call a reraise. The minimum size you can raise is typically chosen to be twice that of the last bet or raise.

Call: when you do not want to raise the stakes but want to continue with your hand you can match the current bet.

Fold: if you feel your hand is not worth playing any further you can fold your hand and not commit any more bets.

Check: if there is no bet placed you can check in order to see the next card. This isn’t applicable to preflop. The blinds are the first bet preflop which must be matched with a call or raised, if a player wishes to continue.

Players must act in sequence until all bets are settled. The button must always act last in the first sequence. This first round of betting called ‘pre-flop’ occurs before the flop is dealt.

The flop – the second betting round

The second round of betting takes places after the three community (shared) cards called the flop are dealt. The action will be to the first player to the left of the dealer. This is opposed to the action starting to the left of the big blind during the preflop betting round.

The first player to act has the option to check bet or fold; although you should not fold when you can check for free. The betting rounds after the flop is dealt is collectively known as ‘post-flop’.

The turn – the third betting round

The third round of betting occurs after the second community card has been dealt. This card is called the turn. Again, the action starts with the active player to the left of the dealer.

The river and showdown – the fourth betting round

The fourth and final round of betting occurs when the dealer turns over the river card. The hand ends with the showdown of hands or if there is only one live hand remaining (the other player(s) have folded).

At showdown, the player with the best five card combination from their hole cards and the community cards wins the final pot. Split pots occur when both players have the same best five cards.

How to Play Roulette – Rules and Beginner Guide, casino game rules pdf.

After each hand, the button moves to the left of the dealer. This means everyone will have to play the blinds at some point.

Texas hold’em rules are quite simple; however the strategies involved in winning are ever evolving.

The rules of texas hold’em are just the beginning so head to our poker training sites post here if you want to improve your poker game!

Other notes:

  • The dealer will often take one card off the top of the deck before turning over the flop, turn and river for a total of three cards. The three removed cards are called the burn cards. The purpose of these cards is to make it difficult for cheaters.

  • A player can not buy in for any more chips once he is in the hand. So if they start the hand with $100 they cannot add another $20 to their stack midway through the hand; they have to top up in between hands.

Kickers

A kicker is much like a decider when both players have similar hand types. For example, if player A has A♠Q♣ and player B has A♣J♠ and the board is A ♥ K ♦ 5 ♠ 7♠ 2 ♦ both players will have top pair with an ace but player A will win because the Q ♣ is a better kicker than the J♠. The best five cards in this scenario are AAQ75 whereas the losing hand has AAJ75. A kicker is a very important concept when trying to understand the poker hand ranking system.

Split pots

Split pots occur when both players get to showdown and have the same hand rank. The pot is divided up equally between each of the players.

To take an example, if player A has K♠J ♥ and player B has K♣Q♠ on a A ♥ K ♦ 5♠5♣2♠ board both players will have two pair and ace kicker as their best hand (A, K, K, 5, 5). Therefore the pot will be split between the two players.

Alternatively, if the neither player can improve the hand on the board it will also be a split pot. If the board is A ♥ K ♦ 5 ♠ 5 ♣ K ♠ and player A has Q♠J♣ and player B has 4♣4♠ then both players will be playing the board and thus it will be a split pot. Hence, you cannot have three pair in poker and the best two pair will p lay.

Beyond hand rankings

The rules of poker and poker hand rankings are just the beginning for you on your poker journey. One of the core skills in poker is being able to determine whether your hand is strong or weak on a relative scale as opposed to an absolute scale. For example, three of a kind is extremely strong on a board with no flush or straight possibilities but very weak on a board with 4 to a flush or 4 to a straight (e.G. T ♥ 9 ♥ 8 ♥ 7 ♥ – any heart or J or 6 beats three of a kind).

One key point to note is that in poker all suits are of the same value. An ace high flush of hearts is the same value as an ace high flush of spades.

The first step to this is remembering if a flush beats a straight, or whether a straight flush beats quads; the next stage is figuring out your hand’s relative strength based on how your opponent is playing, his tendencies and most importantly the board texture as noted.

Additionally, we should take into account the following factors:

  • How many players are in the pot

  • The amount of chips in the pot

  • The size of the bets made

If you can understand the poker hand rankings and relative hand strength you will be ahead of the game; get ready to beat all your friends and opponents at your home games and casinos! The complete USA online gambling guide

All of the legal⇓ real money casino sites here are 100% safe and accept deposits / withdraw from most major credit cards, bitcoin, and vouchers like EZ pay. The gambling games offered include slot machines, roulette, blackjack, keno, faro, scratch cards, craps, baccarat, and video poker. They may be accessed from instant play, downloaded and played on a computer.

We thoroughly vet them to make sure they have fast payouts, a history of reliability, and quality customer support, before listing them here. This means you will have a great gaming experience the first time and for years to come. Of course new players have a lot of questions about how to find the right place to gamble safely. We can help! Get started by clicking on a site and completing the secure registration process, or jump to the FAQ⇓.

Wondering if you can bet for free also?Because each of the real money online casinos listed above have been trusted to hold a legal online gambling license, they also offer bonus incentives. The gambling certification, which are country of origin dependent, are checked regularly for changes, tested for fair gaming practices, and are third-party certified. Establishing this as a baseline, combined with which ones have the best promotions currently, allows for the what we think is the most accurate way to compare them. While other online casino review sites are biased, we take no commission from our recommendations because we believe honesty is the best policy. Now you have the power to pick from a true top list! How we pick the best from the rest

It goes without saying that after 26 years in the gaming industry, we have strong opinions about who is on the up and up. Even with that said, our info is based solely in facts and history we have witnessed personally. If a casino goes rogue it is removed immediately. This page only features the real money gambling sites our team found to be the very best on many levels of the term “best”. This is done so you have more time to relax and play without the burden of worrying about your final decision. Sounds great right! But how is it actually worked out?

In the search for the ultimate gaming experience, our team compares each of the casinos using bonuses first to see how it feels overall. After this, we contact them directly and set up a way to review the games in an unbiased way as if we are regular paying customers. Then we gamble and record the data. This gives two perspectives for our objective review process so in the end we will only list websites that fit a very strict criteria of fairness, quality, and trust.

Unfortunately, when any real money online casino in the USA is sold to a new company this entire process must be repeated. Finding out when a website is sold and who bought it is the real problem. That is where our friends in the industry come into play. Our informants are priceless in finding out what they don’t want us to know, like who owns who! This way we can suggest reputable companies we know are on the up and up, not rebranded unsavory casinos which could go rogue and potentially not payout ever.

The rules of being reviewed: each real money casino has to meet these standards to be listed!

  • Features slots that have a high payback. Slots bets range from $0.25 to $150 per spin!

  • Accepts USA residents

  • Accepts visa and mastercard deposits, regular and prepaid

  • Has proven licensing and certification

  • Payouts in real USD (american currency) or bitcoin with check withdrawals available

  • Have talked to us directly and passed our secret customer support test

  • Has a large variety of games. This is an absolute must. We will never list a site that features only one game as it is almost NEVER regulated and could close down at anytime.

More about bonuses & promotions!

Most people who intend on playing only slots often opt to use sign-up offers because it literally guarantees more spins when a player makes their first deposit. Plus it truly feels good to win before the spin! The key feature is that it’s extra free chips and credits added to the starting balance for free. While only usable on slot machines, it’s nice to know you will be playing longer even if your luck is down, right?

Some sites allow gambling with bonus codes at table games as well. This is called a “no rules bonus”, but all promotions will at least allow the player to claim free spins on the slots. If an “all games” rule is provided then they can be used on specialty table games like baccarat, craps, roulette, or blackjack. They will specifically say that it will work on table games, otherwise do no expect bonuses to transfer from slots to tables.

Rewards are given as prizes, comps, and bonus play. As stated above, the bonuses still allow players to gain comps making them even more valuable to regular returning customers. It is surprising how quickly comp points can add up! Sometimes they exceed the players first deposits in the matter of weeks. Comps are one of the few things in an online casino that is truly a win-win for everyone.

Why can’t everyone join?

Not all states are allowed to sign up. In america, what is considered virtual gambling is treated differently from state to state, and also from game to game. For instance, professional sports betting is illegal, yet playing slot machines or a card game like blackjack is not. Another popular real money game in the USA that is regulated differently is real money bingo because it is skill based and has been grandfathered in before anti-gaming laws were in place. These bingo sites frequently have casino-like games and scratch cards as well. If your state is not allowed the site will prevent you from registering automatically.

You may say the games seem the same as everywhere else, but their not…

There are big advantages to gambling online as opposed to live games at land-based casinos. Craps, blackjack, and roulette can be played at a much faster pace online allowing for more bets in a shorter time. That is an important concept to understand. For instance, if you are hitting consistently on red, you could take advantage of your lucky streak with extra fast bets on even numbers and on red as well. Then, just slow down your betting when your luck turns. For this reason and because they tend to have good odds, many die-hard table game players play online exclusively.

Seasoned players know that video poker has very good odds, so playing several hands at once is preferable. The more hands played the more that can be won, and nothing compares to the rate one can play cards online. Some professional gamblers play multi-hand video poker as their sole source of income. Now they don’t have to commute to work!

Slot machines at these websites payback more per bet than offline slot machines do. This is a really big deal because slots generally do not payback as much as other games, so slot players are always looking for the highest payback they can find. As much as double the amount of money is returned to the gambler compared to tight vegas slots on the strip. The fact that slot machines spin faster online offsets this gain slightly, but it also increase total playing time.

All the latest gambling websites to go public are listed here!

Some people think brand new is always better. While this is not always true, new is at least fresh and different. Well, searching new online casinos for 2018 starts, and ends right here. Gamblers that need a reliable and unbiased reference point before moving forward into unknown territory need not look further. Knowing more about a new site before depositing money will help increase your fun factor and your bank account in the end. Some people over spend or over bet on new sites. Don’t fall prey to emotional gambling! If you feel this way it is good advice to calm your excitement and focus on the task at hand.

Our founder says, “there is so much info that can help make good players better, and already great ones the absolute best it is hard to generalize, but we think we have it down to a perfect science. Offer only the best!”

So that is exactly what we do! Many of us agree that entertainment is just better when it’s gambling online from the serene setting of your very own home, so that is where we put all our focus. After all, it has a crazy history in the USA that continues today. See the infographic. Relaxing on the couch with your phone or sitting at your desk on the computer is better for a lot of people who do not want to go out.

Clean, convenient, and safe from all mass shootings, USA online casino gambling is such a great alternative that one day it may exceed land based gambling. This is not a far fetched idea. It is already a 67 billion dollar industry. With so many people betting, and with mobile casino party expert advice in mind, you are sure to find the right play to play.

Almost all online casinos for real money have gone mobile friendly!

A section of mobile phone only sites have now been added and are able to be accessed on a variety of smartphones and tablets including android, ipad, blackberry, and iphones. Some of the newer sites have big brands who make games like those found in las vegas and other gaming destinations, but most are independent of the major gaming hubs. Realtime gaming is a good example. These guys make new games once a month, sometimes twice, which is a lot more than land-based casinos can pump out.

Large manufactures including IGT, williams, and aristocrat have apps on state run sites for new jersey, delaware, washington, and nevada residents. Frankly the software is less than what most hardcore gamblers would expect. Because of this the majority of american residents still play at offshore websites. This brings fear of tax evasion and the possibility of laundering money from american officials, yet not one arrest has ever been made on a state level. If regulation becomes federal law than it is very likely these large companies will step in and take over all real money casino game manufacturing.

Where is the app store and google play?

Please do not be mislead elsewhere! There are no real money gambling apps for USA players in the app store or goggle play. Even the state-run websites in NJ are not allowed to offer their games as a certified app. Until our first mobile playstore apps arrive, players use their mobile device’s web browser or chrome app. Here’s a cool fact, apps have recently become the norm elsewhere, as the playstore in the UK offers lots of app choices. One day it may be the same in the US but as of now there is really no sign of change coming soon.

Still have questions? Let’s take this step by step…

  • First, search the list above and find the one you would like to try first. Many people start by reading the online casino reviews rated by our experts and your votes.

  • Then you click on the button where you want make an account.

  • Confirm your email address, sign in and navigate to the cashier

  • Redeem the coupon code and/or deposit (optional).

Online casino FAQ

Is there a minimum age required to gamble with real money online?

Yes, you have to be at least 21 years of age to gamble in the US. This is not enforced as strongly as some would like, but the legal age of gambling corresponds with the licensing country. Some casino sites accept players 18 years of age and older, but these are probably a scam as they may not actually pay anyone under 21. Always look for proper certifications and licenses on the websites homepage.

Do they have “player’s clubs”?

No. Instead, many offer signup bonuses and other promotions. They will increase these rewards to regularly returning customers and offer VIP bonuses to highrollers. Special relationships can be achieved with highroller status. Speak to the casino host for more info.

What are comp points?

All real money casinos that are online offer some monetary incentive based on the amount a player bets, with the most common being the comp point. They can be exchanged for cash, and unlike bonuses, they have actual value that can be used on the tables as well as the slots. Comp points add up fast but may not rollover to the next month after 1 year of no use.

Can I play the games for free?

Usually yes. Almost every one has both free and real money game modes, which is usually selected while logging-in effectively separating them from each other. The free mode makes for a great way to practice or to see how much you would have won or lost if you were really betting. The other mode labeled free is self explanatory. No charges are made while you learn how it works.

May I ask for help if I don’t know how to play a game?

Yes, the table dealers or a live chat operator can explain the rules of any game, which can vary from site to site. Email support if your downloaded client fails.

Which US states are accepted?

Generally players from every state except washington, new jersey, pennsylvania, new york, and delaware are allowed to play. If your state is not accepted the website should not allow you to signup, it’s that simple. Then find a new real money online casino, or play when traveling to different states or while taking a vacation!
