GTA 5 online casino update is finally launching, with the release date for the highly anticipated grand theft auto DLC fast approaching.

Earlier this week rockstar games confirmed the release date for the GTA casino update and outlined what will be included in it.

The GTA 5 online casino update will be out on the PS4, xbox one and pcs on tuesday july 23 and it will bring with it the new diamond casino & resort.

The new GTA location features a casino where grand theft auto fans can play poker, blackjack, hit the slot machines or try out virtual horse racing.

The diamond casino & resort will also feature luxury penthouses, including a master penthouse with a roof terrace and infinity pool.

Outlining the update in a blog post, rockstar games said: “the massive construction project on the corner of vinewood park drive and mirror park boulevard is nearing completion, radically changing the skyline of los santos forever.

UPDATE ONE: the next big GTA 5 online update is expected to go live this morning on PS4, xbox one and PC.

A casino DLC launch time has not been provided but rockstar games but based on how the development team have handled past launches, a release between 9am and 11am seems a good bet.

Gamers will be getting access to a large amount of new content today, including new cars and missions, all of which will be listed in the official patch notes.

ORIGINAL: new DLC cars, missions and activities have been promised for the next major GTA 5 online update, which has a release date set for this week.

If you missed the announcement made by rockstar games, the grand opening for the diamond casino has been set for tuesday, july 23.

It means the wait is almost over for grand theft auto gamers who have been patiently counting down to the next expansion. As mentioned by rockstar earlier this week, GTA online fans will soon be able to explore the casino, enjoy the various table games and buy new accessories.

And while the development team has yet to reveal it all, more DLC vehicles and cars are coming, while a new casino currency is also expected to be introduced.

Data miners have already started teasing some of the new content, which will probably come in waves. This will start with the big GTA 5 online update in the coming days, followed by weekly drops over the rest of the summer.

Twitch prime users have had until july 19 to link their social club account so that they claim some big grand theft auto perks.

These included being able to purchase the master penthouse for free in the diamond casino & resort, as well as receive GTA$1.25M and up to 15% extra GTA$ on purchases of shark cash cards.

The bad news is that this deal has now ended and is no longer open to twitch prime users.
